Assistant Manager, Learning & Development

About the role

The Singapore EDITION is seeking an Assistant Manager for Learning & Development to support the design, delivery and evaluation of training programs that enhance employee performance and guest experience. You will work closely with operational leaders to identify skill gaps and ensure training aligns with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and communicate training programs to staff, ensuring high participation and engagement.
• Assist in conducting needs assessments, designing curricula, and facilitating both custom and corporate training sessions.
• Monitor enrollment, attendance and collect feedback to measure training effectiveness and ROI.
• Partner with managers to evaluate whether employees demonstrate improved technical and leadership capabilities post‑training.
• Support the development of training plans and budgets, adjusting methodologies as needed to close performance gaps.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Human Resources, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field with at least 1 year of HR or training experience, **or** a 4‑year degree with no experience required.
• Certified trainer status.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to model hospitality standards.
