Assistant Manager / Manager – Publicity (Ecosystem Development & Engagement)

About the role

This role sits with the Data Innovation & Protection Group (DIPG), which develops data-driven technologies, ecosystem engagement and the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC), which enforces the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). It supports PDPC's digital marketing efforts, working closely with senior management, internal stakeholders and vendors to create content and creative assets for PDPC's owned channels.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, create and produce social media content and creative assets across formats, keeping them audience-centric, platform-appropriate and aligned with PDPC's messaging and branding
• Build content calendars, manage deadlines and ensure timely publishing after approval
• Draft post copy, capture footage, edit videos, design visuals and adapt assets to each platform
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align narratives and messaging
• Monitor social media trends, platform developments and performance insights to recommend creative improvements
• Develop PDPC resources such as videos, publications and infographics
• Run the internal content production workflow from storyboarding and copywriting to final asset production

Required profile

• 4-7 years of digital marketing and content development experience across social media, website and digital campaigns for a B2C brand
• Ability to deliver end-to-end content, especially short-form video
• On-camera presence and excellent writing and editing skills, adaptable to different audiences
• Strong stakeholder management and self-motivation to manage priorities and timelines
• B2B brand experience is an advantage

• Video editing and design tools such as CapCut, Adobe Creative Cloud Pro and Canva
• GenAI tools such as Claude Design and Adobe Firefly
• Social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook) and their analytics tools
