Assistant Manager – Mechanical & Electrical

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Mechanical & Electrical will lead the planning, design review, site supervision and quality assurance of M&E works across construction projects. You will ensure that all mechanical and electrical installations are delivered safely, on time and in compliance with regulatory and technical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review project specifications and provide technical clarifications.
• Manage M&E works including ACMV, electrical, plumbing and sanitary systems.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects and contractors to ensure seamless execution.
• Supervise site activities and monitor progress of M&E installations.
• Review and submit shop drawings to consultants for approval.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors and internal teams to resolve technical issues.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Strong project management and leadership capabilities.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and able to adapt to dynamic site conditions.
• Only Singaporean candidates may be considered.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with project scheduling tools.
