Assistant Manager – Outsourced Accounting

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead its outsourced accounting portfolio. You will act as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring high‑quality, timely delivery of accounting services while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of outsourced accounting clients and maintain strong relationships.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of accounting professionals.
• Review junior work for quality and compliance with accounting standards.
• Collaborate with clients to design tailored accounting solutions.
• Monitor client budgets, ensure efficient resource use and meet financial targets.
• Identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
• Stay current on industry trends and regulatory changes.
• Prepare and present financial reports with insights and recommendations.
• Oversee invoicing, collections and support business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy (CA Singapore or equivalent preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and client‑service orientation.
• Proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
• Experience leading junior teams in a fast‑paced environment.
