Assistant Manager, Student Services

About the role

Fuku is hiring an Assistant Manager, Student Services in Singapore. The role leads the Student Service Department, which provides student welfare, pastoral care and administrative support to a mainly international student population. It reports to the Vice President and combines hands-on casework with team leadership, ensuring the department meets EduTrust and SWDA requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Student Service Department and set service standards and workflows for welfare, discipline, attendance and student support.
• Supervise and guide Student Service Officers/Executives, assign caseloads and review their work, and update the Vice President on performance and compliance.
• Handle student admission, withdrawal, course completion and attendance records, and act as the main contact point for students.
• Cover the front desk, assist walk-in students with enquiries, feedback and complaints, and respond to email and phone enquiries.
• Support Student's Pass applications and renewals, track compliance with its conditions and flag at-risk cases early.
• Support students with academic, personal and social concerns, follow up on attendance issues and support discipline processes, escalating complex cases to the Admissions team, Academic Department or Vice President.
• Coordinate admin matters across departments, support student events, orientation and graduation, check in on student wellbeing and help organise wellbeing activities.
• Represent the department in cross-functional meetings as needed and take on other duties as assigned.
