Assistant Manager Talent Management

About the role

Singapore Airlines is looking for an Assistant Manager Talent Management within its Human Resources Division. The role supports the implementation and ongoing improvement of talent management strategies and programs, focusing on identifying, developing and retaining key talent to meet current and future organizational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders, business partners and managers to implement talent identification processes, including the annual talent review cycle and succession planning.
• Analyze workforce data and performance metrics to identify high-potential employees and critical roles.
• Support the implementation of assessment tools to evaluate employees' competencies, potential and readiness.
• Track talent pipeline movements and develop regular dashboards and reports for internal stakeholders.
• Monitor participation and progress of talents in development initiatives and report on outcomes and effectiveness.
• Work with Learning & Development teams and external vendors to curate and deliver learning solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve talent management processes and propose enhancements using technology, Gen AI and best practices.

Required profile

• Degree holder, preferably in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Talent Management.
• Good EQ and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-driven, proactive and resourceful, with a passion for talent development and people growth.
• Able to work independently and collaborate as a team.
• Comfortable with data and preparing papers and proposals.
• Committed to continuous professional development and staying up to date with talent management trends.

Required skills

• Experience with SuccessFactors is preferred.
• Experience with talent assessment tools and coaching is preferred.
