Assistant Mechanical & Electrical Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to support the planning, scheduling and coordination of M&E works across our island‑wide construction projects in Singapore. The role will work closely with senior engineers, subcontractors and consultants to ensure that all mechanical and electrical installations are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and control mechanical and electrical works throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor progress, prepare regular reports and liaise with clients and M&E consultants for technical resolutions.
• Supervise M&E subcontractors, review shop drawings, quotations and cost estimates, and ensure compliance with specifications and authority requirements.
• Coordinate submission of documents, manage material and equipment logistics, and administer M&E sub‑contracts.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks to verify that works are executed according to approved drawings and specifications.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in construction, building or engineering projects.
