Assistant Production Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Production Engineer to support our production engineers in driving efficient, safe, and high‑quality manufacturing operations at our precast and prefabrication plant. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure resources are optimally used and customer delivery expectations are met.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Production Engineers in managing production teams to optimise resource utilisation and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with Planning, Quality Control, Logistics and other departments to align production activities and resolve issues.
• Implement and enforce safe work methods, proper tool usage and adherence to safety procedures on site.
• Monitor compliance with production and safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain operational standards.
• Ensure production outputs meet the highest quality standards and work with QC to reduce reject rates.
• Deliver outputs that satisfy customer requirements for timely delivery, accurate documentation, quality and safety.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation to support production tracking and compliance.
• Attend site/project meetings with main and sub‑contractors.

Required profile

• Bachelor degree or Post‑Graduate Diploma in Civil & Structural Engineering from a recognised university.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Production Engineer in the construction sector.
• Ability to work independently, meet production goals and adhere to schedules.
• Strong teamwork spirit with proactive communication skills.
