Assistant Project Manager – Construction

About the role

The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager in delivering construction projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role focuses on coordinating technical activities, managing subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with client, consultant, and authority requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed programme schedules and monitor task completion against the master programme.
• Implement ISO quality, EHS, green, and gracious procedures throughout the project.
• Ensure project deliverables meet client and consultant specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants and owners on technical issues, shop drawing submissions, and sample approvals.
• Oversee subcontractors to guarantee timely, compliant execution of their scope.
• Control actual project costs to stay below budgeted amounts.
• Lead and motivate the project team, fostering productivity and teamwork.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil & Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Proven experience in technical coordination and basement construction is preferred.
