Assistant Project Manager - Data Centre PMC (West Area)

About the role

Turner & Townsend is hiring an Assistant Project Manager for its Data Centre PMC team in the West Area of Singapore. The role provides operational, administrative and technical support, focusing on document control, tracking deliverables and helping with site inspections so that the candidate learns the nuances of data centre delivery.

Key responsibilities

• CDE administration: manage document control, keeping structural drawings, specifications, authority approvals and construction records organised and up to date.
• Project register maintenance: update project logs daily and track RFIs, technical submittals, variation orders and meeting action items.
• Meeting support: attend project meetings, take accurate minutes and track action items.
• Site inspection support: accompany Construction Managers and Project Managers on site walks, capture progress photos, log safety concerns and track punch-list items.
• Closeout documentation: gather, check and organise O&M manuals, warranty papers and as-built drawings for the final TOP submission.

Required profile

• 2 to 5 years of experience in building construction or project coordination; exposure to large commercial or industrial projects in Singapore is a plus.
• Degree or diploma in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture.

Required skills

• Ability to read architectural blueprints, structural designs and single-line electrical diagrams.
• Basic knowledge of construction sequencing, from excavation and structure to fit-out and testing.
• Smartsheet for logs and tracking lists, Procore for document workflows, and ACC for folders and models.
