Assistant Project Manager

About the role

T.A.G. Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support delivery of multiple demolition, earthworks and reinstatement projects across Singapore. You will work closely with the Director and site teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own project delivery from mobilisation to hand‑over for several concurrent projects.
• Develop and maintain the master programme, monitor progress and address slippage early.
• Manage project budgets and cost control in coordination with the Quantity Surveying team.
• Coordinate sub‑contractors, suppliers and internal resources to meet milestones.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, changes and issues; escalate strategic matters.
• Represent T.A.G. at meetings with main contractors, consultants and clients; handle day‑to‑day client communication and reporting.
• Prepare monthly progress reports and updates for the Director.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality and safety.
• Support the Site Supervisor with technical guidance and problem‑solving.
• Ensure compliance with WSH regulations, PUB Earth Control Measures, NEA disposal requirements and BCA processes.
• Review method statements, risk assessments and permit‑to‑work documentation.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field.
• 2–5 years of construction project management or site engineering experience in Singapore.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Working knowledge of construction scheduling tools (e.g., Microsoft Project).
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Strong written and spoken English for client and contractor communication.
• Willingness to work at active construction sites across Singapore.

• Base salary SGD 5,500 – 6,500 per month, dependent on experience.
