Assistant Project Manager, NSC Building Project

About the role

Science Centre Singapore is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for the NSC Building Project. The role supports the planning, coordination and implementation of infrastructure development works for the New Science Centre, working closely with consultants, contractors, government agencies and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage project activities to ensure timely delivery of milestones and deliverables
• Liaise with stakeholders, oversee tender and procurement processes, administer contracts and monitor progress claims, variation orders and project expenditure
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and recommend solutions
• Prepare management reports, presentations and project updates, coordinate meetings and follow-ups
• Support project completion, handover and operational readiness

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in building development, construction or project management (public sector experience is an added advantage)
• Proactive, resourceful and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership
• Able to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Good understanding of project management, procurement and contract administration
• Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
