Assistant Project Manager – Property Development

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Assistant Project Manager to support the planning and execution of property development projects from concept to handover. You will work closely with architects, engineers, consultants and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle – design, procurement, construction and handover.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants and contractors to keep the project on track.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, tender administration and quality, taking corrective actions when needed.
• Liaise with local authorities (e.g., BCA, URA) and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct site inspections, track progress and verify alignment with plans and specifications.
• Identify and mitigate risks, resolve technical and operational issues.
• Perform value engineering to enhance project value.
• Oversee contract administration, including tender preparation and award.
• Carry out feasibility studies such as test‑fits or space planning.

Required profile

• Preferably 5 + years of experience in property development, construction or consultancy.
• Prior construction site experience is an advantage.
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, project management and Singapore regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.
