Assistant Regional Controller – Finance (Asia Pacific)

About the role

The Assistant Regional Controller supports the Regional Controller in overseeing finance activities across Ferrero’s Asia Pacific region. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, drives data quality, and acts as a key liaison between sub‑regions and the central APAC‑MEA team.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile SAP P&L with Group data server reports, identify discrepancies and coordinate resolutions.
• Maintain standard cost of SKUs as required.
• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for system enhancements.
• Consolidate weekly sales reports, perform variance analysis and validation.
• Prepare monthly actual and forecast P&L reports, incorporating adjustments from cluster review meetings.
• Support the Head of Controlling/Regional Controller with periodic reporting and ad‑hoc requests.
• Analyse functional reporting, spot gaps between forecasts and results, and trigger corrective actions.
• Serve as regional super‑user for Power Query and Group data servers, providing knowledge support.
• Build and amend data collection templates, maintain systems for cluster inputs and ensure data completeness and quality.
• Conduct ad‑hoc analyses to meet business needs.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in finance controlling.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and regions.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• PowerPoint.
• Power Query (required).
• Power BI (preferred).
• HFM/Essbase (preferred).
