Assistant Restaurant Manager (Junior Executive)

About the role

The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations across the entire floor, ensuring smooth service flow and high‑quality dining experiences for guests. This junior‑executive position is ideal for candidates with solid F&B management experience who can step in confidently when the manager is absent.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑manage daily restaurant operations with the Restaurant Manager.
• Take full ownership of the outlet during the manager’s absence, maintaining service standards.
• Oversee front‑ and back‑of‑house duties, rotating through hosting, serving, and cashier roles to understand all floor functions.
• Deliver excellent customer service and handle feedback professionally.
• Ensure SOP compliance, maintain stock levels, and conduct food audits.
• Track daily sales, labour costs, and generate reports.
• Maintain hygiene, safety, and housekeeping standards.
• Manage workforce scheduling, payroll, recruitment, and staff attendance records.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties assigned by senior management.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Food & Beverage Management or Hospitality from a recognised institution.
• 5‑8 years of experience co‑managing a fast‑food restaurant.
• Experience with quality‑control systems and staff training.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a multitasking environment.
• Positive attitude, high energy, and immediate availability.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office for reporting and data analysis.
