Assistant Tax Manager – Corporate Tax & Transfer Pricing

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Tax Manager to support the Head of Tax in overseeing corporate tax obligations and strategic fiscal governance for a leading consumer‑goods company. The role will involve managing transfer pricing frameworks, ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and providing tax risk mitigation for expansion projects.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior leadership to manage the group’s corporate tax obligations and strategic fiscal governance.
• Implement and maintain global transfer pricing frameworks, ensuring documentation meets multi‑jurisdictional standards.
• Provide technical tax advice for expansion and operational initiatives, identifying risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
• Oversee local tax compliance filings and monitor changes in indirect tax policies.
• Act as primary point of contact for tax audits and inquiries from various tax authorities.

Required profile

• Recognised degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 4 years of progressive experience managing complex tax portfolios, preferably in a Big 4 tax advisory or compliance environment.
• Strong commercial acumen, agility and adaptability.
