Assistant/Deputy Director, International Department (1-Year Contract)

About the role

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is recruiting an Assistant/Deputy Director for its International Department on a 1-year contract. You will monitor and analyse regional and international monetary and financial developments, working closely with a dynamic team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and advocate MAS' positions at multilateral fora such as ASEAN, EMEAP, G20, IMF, FSB and BIS, and other international platforms and standard-setting bodies.
• Contribute to advancing bilateral cooperation and relations with MAS' foreign counterparts.
• May be involved in financial services free trade agreement negotiations.

Required profile

• Singapore citizenship is required.
• Experience in international relations, regulatory policy or supervision is an advantage.
• A background in Economics, Political Science and International Relations is an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholder needs in a fast-paced environment, and to adapt to change.
