Assistant/Manager – Civil & Structural Engineering (Healthcare Infrastructure)

About the role

We are seeking a meticulous Assistant/Manager to provide civil and structural engineering expertise for public healthcare infrastructure projects. You will support the design, construction and handover of hospitals, polyclinics, specialist centres and nursing homes across Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, technical submissions and design proposals for completeness, constructability and compliance with employer requirements.
• Collaborate with consultants, contractors and internal project teams to develop cost‑effective, buildable civil and structural designs that meet operational, regulatory and long‑term facility needs.
• Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle – from tender preparation and design development to construction, testing, commissioning, TOP, CSC, handover and post‑completion.
• Assess and advise on foundation, sub‑structure, super‑structure, infrastructure works, geotechnical considerations, temporary works, site constraints and construction sequencing.
• Liaise with relevant authorities and agencies to ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Qualified civil or structural engineer with a strong interest in public healthcare projects.
• Detail‑oriented professional with the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Motivated to contribute to Singapore’s public healthcare infrastructure development.
