Associate Cargo Sales Support (1-Year Contract)

About the role

Singapore Airlines is hiring an Associate Cargo Sales Support for its Singapore Sales (Cargo) team within the Cargo Division on a 1-year contract. The role covers preparation of contracts, filing of rates in the iCargo system and ensuring correct billing for ULD and other shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Keep billings in iCargo prompt and accurate, and investigate and resolve validation failures so Airway Bill master records can be created and billed.
• Amend key fields and fix validation errors, and handle pre-billing queries such as rate compute exceptions, rate mismatches and rate audit issues.
• Filing spot rates for ad hoc shipments and investigating rating disputes, raising CCA (Cargo Correction Advice) requests for refunds where appropriate.
• Send class rates to agents, monitor acknowledgments, and prepare and issue non-agent AWB requests for charter flights.
• Support agent AWB requests when iCargo cannot release an AWB for agent restock, and handle booking requests promptly with solutions and alternatives.

Required profile

• Diploma holder.
• Experience in the air cargo industry; sales and accounts servicing experience is beneficial.
• Good communication, negotiation and analytical skills, customer-focused and service-oriented.

Required skills

• Knowledge of accounting preferred.
• Comfortable working with numbers.
• Use of the iCargo system.
