Associate, Client Implementation - Transaction Banking APAC

About the role

MUFG Bank, Ltd Singapore Branch is looking for an Associate Client Implementation Manager to join its Transaction Banking team. The role centres on end-to-end onboarding and integration of corporate clients across the APAC region, linking clients, internal teams and technology platforms so that solutions are delivered efficiently and effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Support Cash Management, Liquidity and technical advisory for client proposals, RFPs and solution discussions, turning requirements into viable system capabilities.
• Support pre-sales activities such as RFPs, demos and solution design, and ensure post-sales alignment with Product and Operations teams.
• Manage the full onboarding lifecycle from initiation through preparation, execution, testing and closure.
• Define implementation plans with milestones, deliverables and timelines, track progress and manage dependencies.
• Lead multi-country implementations across APAC and develop project plans with status reporting and risk mitigation.
• Validate system setup, documentation and configurations before go-live, document live customer profiles, facilitate knowledge transfer and support Customer Service teams after implementation.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in banking environments, in customer service or operational functions related to client integration.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Finance Systems or a related technical discipline.
• Proven delivery experience in ERP/TMS implementation projects, including bank connectivity initiatives, is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated project management capability for multi-country implementations across APAC.

Required skills

• Strong technical proficiency in ISO 20022 XML (e.g. pain.001), including file construction, field mapping and schema validation.
• Advantageous practical knowledge of H2H (SFTP), SWIFTNet (FileAct/FIN) and API integrations.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills, and ability to work in cross-functional environments.
