Associate Director – Mechanical Engineering

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join an established M&E consultancy in Singapore as an Associate Director. The role involves leading design and delivery of building‑services engineering projects and managing multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and oversee mechanical and electrical engineering works for building services.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers throughout project lifecycles.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, calculations and detailed drawings for all project stages.
• Design ACMV systems, fire‑protection, plumbing and sanitary solutions.
• Develop detailed designs for chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, chiller pumps and MV fans.
• Manage project tendering, execution and client coordination.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer (Mechanical) with the Singapore PE Board.
• Relevant professional certifications from contractor or statutory boards are acceptable.
• Proven experience at associate‑to‑associate‑director level in M&E projects.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
