Associate/Assistant Director, Procurement (2‑Year Contract)

About the role

This 2‑year contract position supports the organisation’s procurement function by advising internal stakeholders, managing supplier interactions, and ensuring compliance with policies. The role blends strategic guidance with hands‑on process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Support and advise stakeholders on procurement approaches, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
• Liaise with internal teams and suppliers to facilitate sourcing outcomes, including quotations, tenders and clarifications.
• Review existing work processes and recommend enhancements such as new templates, trackers and standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate procurement documentation and records to maintain completeness and proper audit trails.
• Assist the end‑to‑end procurement cycle from sourcing to award, managing evaluations, internal clearances and submission write‑ups.
• Contribute to broader team initiatives, including policy reviews, knowledge‑management projects and business‑continuity activities.

• Experience in government procurement, process management or data analysis is an advantage.
