Attach and Train Trainee – Development Services (Contract)

About the role

The successful applicant will join the Characterization team within the Analytical Development department of Lonza Singapore, focusing on protein characterization using mass spectrometry and other analytical methods.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily equipment verification, media and buffer preparation, and goods receiving.
• Document results in accordance with Lonza policies and cGMP standards, and maintain laboratory housekeeping, equipment maintenance, and inventory.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and support operational efficiency initiatives.
• Adhere to EHS rules and regulations at all times.

Required profile

• Degree in a relevant science field or equivalent.
• Understanding of mammalian cell culture theory and its application to protein production, purification, and analysis.
• Knowledge of cGMP regulations.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Interest in automation and laboratory analytics activities.
