Medical Science Liaison (Contract)

About the role

The Medical Science Liaison will lead scientific engagement with Medical Experts for a Swiss pharmaceutical client. This 12‑month contract focuses on implementing clinical and educational strategies, responding to unsolicited medical enquiries, and supporting medical governance within the department.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with Medical Experts (MEs) to provide scientific information using approved materials and develop strategic ME engagement plans aligned with country strategy.
• Respond to unsolicited requests from MEs promptly and in compliance with applicable standards.
• Collect and convey impactful insights from MEs to shape medical strategy.
• Support clinical research programs, optimize trial execution, and provide scientific education to study sites in collaboration with clinical operations.
• Facilitate Investigator Initiated Trials (IIT) and serve as a medical resource for field colleagues.
• Review and approve non‑promotional and promotional materials for local stakeholders.
• Report technical complaints, adverse events, and special case scenarios within 24 hours, and monitor medical information inbox with monthly pharmacovigilance reconciliation.
• Manage access programs, post‑study drug supply requests, and coordinate risk management plan activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in health‑related science, life science or pharmacy; MD, PhD or PharmD qualifications are acceptable.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical medical affairs.
• At least 2 years of experience in oncology.
