Audit Senior / Team Leader (Singapore)

About the role

This senior audit position reports directly to the firm’s audit manager and audit partner. The firm promotes an employee‑oriented, high‑performance culture that values empowerment, quality delivery and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in audit planning meetings and assist in developing audit programmes.
• Execute audit procedural tests, including walk‑throughs, sampling, compliance testing of internal controls, substantive testing of account balances and analytical reviews.
• Perform physical verification such as year‑end inventory counts.
• Prepare audit working papers, draft financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), and produce related reports (engagement letters, management letters, audit adjustments).
• Prepare draft tax computations or review estimated tax calculations for audit purposes.
• Compile financial statements, including cash‑flow statements, following SFRS.

Required profile

• Degree or professional qualification equivalent, or finalist in a recognised professional certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of auditing experience in Singapore with a sizable firm.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Caseware audit software.
• Knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and their application.
