AV Support Officer – School (Kovan)

About the role

The AV Support Officer will provide end‑to‑end audio‑visual and multimedia support for a secondary school in Kovan, ensuring smooth delivery of lessons, examinations, meetings and school events.

Key responsibilities

• Provide AV/Multimedia technical support to staff for lessons, exams, meetings and school events.
• Set up and operate visualisers, projectors, speakers, control panels, switchers and mixers in classrooms and venues.
• Perform live‑streaming and video‑conferencing for school functions.
• Maintain service records, service and repair AV equipment, and manage inventory and loan procedures.
• Collaborate with the ICT team on AV requirements and provide training to staff and students.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years experience as an AV support officer in a school environment.
• Experience managing AV assets, maintenance, and providing training.
• Team‑player with positive attitude and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Troubleshooting of AV equipment such as visualisers, projectors, speakers, control panels, switchers and mixers.
• Live‑streaming and video‑conferencing setup and operation.
• Sound control panels, microphone setups and matrix systems.
• Basic IT and computer skills for integration with school ICT systems.
