AVP/VP Employee Communications

About the role

As an AVP/VP of Employee Communications, you will shape GIC’s internal narrative, turning complex ideas into clear, engaging stories that inspire employees across 11 global offices. You will work closely with senior leaders to ensure the organisation’s vision, purpose and strategic direction are consistently communicated.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, draft and publish high‑quality internal communications across newsletters, Yammer, intranet and enterprise campaigns.
• Partner with the intranet lead to curate content, manage the homepage, design articles and keep the platform dynamic and user‑friendly.
• Collaborate with technology teams to enhance existing digital platforms and launch new solutions that boost employee engagement.
• Oversee the internal communications calendar, coordinating content across intranet, newsletters, digital screens, physical spaces and events.
• Shape leadership messages, event materials and storytelling that connect staff to GIC’s mission and strategic priorities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in internal communications, employee engagement or corporate storytelling.
• Strong ability to translate complex business concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
• Excellent project‑management skills with a track record of delivering multi‑channel campaigns.
• Collaborative mindset to work with cross‑functional teams, including technology and leadership.
