Head of Communications

About the role

We are looking for a strategic communications leader to shape our brand narrative, boost visibility, and deliver compelling messaging across all channels. The role reports to the GCEO and works closely with the C‑suite to ensure consistent, impactful communication.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated communication strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Build and nurture relationships with executives, employees, media, and industry influencers.
• Write and edit press releases, speeches, articles, social media posts, and other content.
• Monitor, analyse and report on communication performance, providing data‑driven recommendations.
• Lead crisis communication, creating response plans and coordinating messaging.
• Design and implement internal communication programmes to strengthen employee engagement.
• Prepare briefing documents, speeches and presentations for senior leadership.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure clear, aligned messaging.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging tools and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Experience managing crisis communication and remaining calm under pressure.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, using data to guide decisions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with social media management systems, content management systems and media monitoring tools.
