Bar Bender and Scheduler

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Bar Bender and Scheduler to join our senior management team in Singapore. The role involves interpreting structural drawings and bar‑bending schedules, managing rebar preparation, and ensuring accurate placement within formwork. You will work closely with site engineers to deliver high‑quality structural elements on time.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret structural drawings and Bar‑Bending Schedules (BBS).
• Calculate, identify, and sort steel rebar sizes, grades, and lengths.
• Plan, specify, and prepare rebar layouts for construction projects.
• Mark, cut, bend, and fabricate structural elements according to specifications.
• Determine, transport, and position processed bars into designated formwork areas.

Required profile

• Senior‑management level experience in construction or engineering.
• Proven track record of handling bar‑bending and scheduling tasks on large projects.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Interpretation of structural drawings.
• Reading and applying Bar‑Bending Schedules (BBS).
• Steel rebar sizing, grading, and length calculation.
• Marking, cutting, bending, and fabricating rebar elements.
