Bell-Person – Guest Luggage Attendant

About the role

The Bell-Person is the first point of contact for guests arriving at Mondrian Singapore Duxton, ensuring a warm welcome and seamless luggage handling throughout their stay. You will play a key part in delivering the hotel’s signature service by assisting guests with their luggage, guiding them to their rooms, and promoting the hotel’s dining, bar and spa outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Greet arriving guests, retrieve and deliver luggage promptly and courteously.
• Escort guests to their rooms, explain room features and upsell hotel facilities.
• Handle guest messages, faxes, packages and special requests.
• Transport departing guests’ luggage to the lobby and verify all items are accounted for.
• Maintain safe storage of luggage according to hotel procedures and keep the storage area tidy.
• Provide guests with up‑to‑date information on hotel services, local attractions and events.
• Stay aware of hotel functions and ensure guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the hotel industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to anticipate and address guest and colleague needs.
• Team‑oriented, able to train and motivate peers.
• Detail‑focused, professional and able to work under pressure.
• Self‑motivated with good initiative and sound judgment.
• Commitment to guest security and confidentiality.
