Bid & Commercial Manager

About the role

The Bid & Commercial Manager will lead contract and bid activities for complex ICT and telecom projects, ensuring proposals meet customer requirements and internal standards. This senior position works closely with sales, bid support teams and senior leadership to drive successful tender outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end contract management, bid management and post‑contract support.
• Lead the sales and bid support team to meet tight RFP timelines and obtain necessary internal approvals.
• Analyse and advise on solution, delivery, third‑party, legal and finance risks associated with each bid.
• Review tender proposals, customer agreements and third‑party contracts for accuracy and compliance.
• Troubleshoot bid‑related issues and develop corrective solutions.
• Reduce commercial losses caused by poorly drafted legal terms or weak negotiations.
• Improve governance and compliance of bid and contract processes, including audit activities.
• Negotiate and draft complex ICT and telecom deals, including combined offerings.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience drafting and negotiating complex customer and third‑party contracts (RFPs, RFQs, MOU, NDA, SOW, MSA, etc.).
• At least 5 years managing complex tender bids and back‑to‑back contract negotiations.
• Degree qualification; legal, contract management or business studies are a plus.
• Proven experience in the telecom and ICT sectors.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong collaboration ability with senior leadership and operational teams.
