About the role
csit is building an exploratory platform for data analysts and is looking for undergraduate interns to help develop and implement its analytical and visualization components. The goal is a user-friendly platform that lets analysts use data science and models to extract insights, built on big data technologies such as Spark with a Jupyter-powered interface. The internship lasts 2 to 4 months.
Key responsibilities
- Research techniques or technologies that make data exploration and analysis more efficient.
- Design and build visualization and/or processing components that support data exploration and analysis.
Required profile
- Self-motivated, independent and willing to learn.
- Experience with UI/UX.
- Experience with one of the following programming languages preferred: Scala or Python.
- Experience with Jupyter and Spark.
