BIM Drafting Engineer – Civil & Structural Projects

About the role

We are looking for a BIM Drafting Engineer to create detailed civil and structural drawings for a range of building and infrastructure projects. The role involves converting design sketches into compliant engineering drawings and supporting the approval process.

Key responsibilities

• Produce engineering drawings in accordance with CP83 standards.
• Interpret design sketches from engineers and translate them into accurate BIM models.
• Coordinate with design engineers, consultants and approving agencies to obtain information and expedite approvals.
• Develop civil and structural BIM drawings using Autodesk Revit.
• Prepare submission packages and submit civil & structural drawings to relevant authorities.

Required profile

• Higher NITEC from ITE or a diploma from a polytechnic.
• Experience in producing civil and structural BIM drawings.
• Familiarity with authority submission procedures.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Required skills

• Autodesk Revit (including Revit Structure).
• AutoCAD.
• Navisworks.
• BIM drawing production.
