BIM Modeller / Engineer – Semiconductor Facility Projects

About the role

A technology service provider to the microelectronics industry, with its head office in Singapore, is hiring a BIM modeller / engineer for semiconductor facility projects. The work is based in Tampines and is full-time, on a 6-month to 1-year contract with an option to renew.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BIM models for semiconductor facility projects using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD and other BIM software
• Prepare detailed 3D models of process piping systems and tool hook-up services
• Perform clash detection and coordinate with other disciplines to minimise site conflicts
• Generate shop drawings, construction drawings and as-built drawings from the BIM models
• Coordinate with project engineers, designers and construction teams to ensure design accuracy and constructability
• Update BIM models according to site changes, contractor feedback, RFIs and revised drawings
• Ensure BIM deliverables meet project specifications, BIM execution plans and company standards
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, BIM or a related discipline
• Minimum 1 year of BIM modelling experience, preferably on semiconductor, cleanroom, pharmaceutical or industrial projects
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs and construction specifications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment with tight schedules
• Site experience in tool hook-up or facility installation is an added advantage

Required skills

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
• Knowledge of process piping, exhaust, HVAC, UPW, PCW, CDA, gas and chemical systems is an advantage

What we offer

• Pay of SGD 3,000 to 3,900 per month
• Working hours 8:30am to 6:00pm, five days a week, no fixed off days
• Possible monthly allowances such as an engineer hardship allowance of up to SGD 720
