Building Trades Worker

About the role

The Building Trades Worker is responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of our facilities. You will perform a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks, ensuring a high‑quality living experience for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and snow removal when required.
• Conduct routine inspections of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) to identify and resolve issues.
• Prepare market‑ready apartments by painting, repairing carpet, cleaning, and completing any necessary housekeeping tasks.
• Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and maintain a professional attitude.
• Maintain grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog‑park amenities in clean, operational, and safe condition.
• Report maintenance concerns on vacant units, model homes, and common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Follow all safety policies, attend required training, and safeguard company tools and equipment.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED, trade, technical or vocational education.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read policy manuals, safety rules, and maintenance instructions.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to follow written or diagrammed instructions.
• Commitment to delivering superior customer service and representing the company professionally.
