Business Analyst – AML Domain (Singapore)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Singapore team, focusing on Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) processes such as name screening, customer due diligence and transaction monitoring. You will work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyse and document requirements, ensuring seamless integration with the bank’s technology landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and unit specialists to elicit, analyse and document functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Define and document “to‑be” business and operational processes, perform impact assessments and create requirement traceability matrices.
• Monitor and manage risks, issues and scope creep throughout the analysis phase.
• Produce functional release notes, support deployment planning and assist with SIT/UAT testing.
• Work with system analysts, architects and operational teams to ensure clear communication of Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and to establish new procedures as needed.
• Prepare scopes, assumptions and approval decks for IT management and manage change processes within the analysis phase.

Required profile

• 10+ years of banking experience with a strong focus on AML domains (e.g., name screening, CDD, transaction monitoring).
• Proven ability to think out‑of‑the‑box and engage stakeholders to streamline systems and operations.
• Experience in documenting requirements according to bank standards and performing impact assessments.
• Strong analytical skills with the capability to manage risks and scope changes.
