About the role
We are looking for a Business Controller with strong regional experience to oversee financial operations and partner closely with business and supply chain leaders across multiple countries. The role is central to delivering financial insights, enforcing control, and supporting commercial growth across the Group’s integrated operations. Regular regional engagement and up to 25% travel are required.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as finance partner to business heads across the region, aligning financial plans with strategic and operational goals.
- Provide decision support through financial models, commercial evaluations and cost‑benefit analyses.
- Lead financial assessments for capital expenditures, investments and cost‑optimization initiatives.
- Drive accurate monthly reporting, variance analysis and KPI tracking for multiple countries and business units.
- Consolidate regional budgets and rolling forecasts, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Monitor credit risk, inventory and working capital, ensuring compliance with internal controls, policies and local regulations.
- Support external and internal audits, statutory reporting and tax compliance coordination.
- Work with supply chain and operations teams to monitor cost performance and logistics spend.
- Identify and implement process improvements and standardise reporting and financial practices across markets.
- Coordinate with country finance leads, shared services, corporate finance, tax, treasury and legal teams on cross‑border issues.
- Partner with management to drive continuous improvement and business transformation.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or equivalent; Chartered Accountant (CA) certification highly preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of finance and controlling experience, with regional exposure in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
- Experience managing businesses with annual turnover greater than USD 100 million.
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management abilities.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% regionally.
