Business Development Associate – Pharma/Biotech

About the role

The Business Development Associate will support the commercial team in the pharma and biotech sector, acting as a bridge between clients and internal operations. You will be responsible for managing documentation, pricing, logistics and digital marketing initiatives to drive sales growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage commercial documents such as purchase orders, quotations, delivery notes, order acknowledgments and proposals.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs, provide product information and recommend suitable solutions.
• Conduct pricing analysis and develop strategies that balance profitability with client satisfaction.
• Coordinate timely product deliveries while maintaining quality standards.
• Oversee logistics to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma methods to improve commercial processes.
• Optimize CRM workflows for better client service and internal efficiency.
• Lead digital marketing projects to showcase product features and enhance brand visibility.
• Act as a sales representative, promoting products and expanding the sales pipeline.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience in commercial product management, pricing or a similar role.
• Prior exposure to the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
• Strong analytical abilities and understanding of market trends.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and client‑facing skills.
