Business Development Executive

About the role

The Business Development Executive will drive growth by identifying new opportunities, building partnerships, and supporting tender processes across the environmental, water, and waste‑to‑energy sectors. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to translate market insights into viable projects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities and potential customers.
• Develop and pitch business proposals based on key offers, both solicited and unsolicited.
• Create collaborations with potential partners and assist the tender manager throughout the tender and project development phases.
• Gather market intelligence on regulations, competitors, and customer activities.
• Monitor emerging market trends, technologies, and industry developments relevant to the business.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering or Business Development.
• 3‑5 years of business development experience in the environmental, power, oil & gas, water, or waste‑to‑energy sectors.
• Proven track record in environmental projects, especially water and waste‑to‑energy.
• Strong local network within the environmental industry.
• Ability to manage projects from lead generation through tender completion.
• Familiarity with local environmental codes, regulations, and permitting requirements.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Highly adaptable, proactive, and willing to travel overseas.
