Business Development Manager – ASEAN (Singapore)

About the role

Safran.AI, a subsidiary of Safran Electronics & Defense, is expanding its presence in the APAC region. Based in Singapore, you will lead commercial activities across the ASEAN market, identifying and developing new business opportunities for AI solutions in defense, aerospace, and government sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement account and commercial strategies to achieve sales targets in ASEAN.
• Manage and grow an existing client portfolio while prospecting new institutional and industrial customers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design tailored bids, define scope, pricing, and highlight differentiators.
• Coordinate contract drafting, negotiate with high‑level public and industrial counterparts, and ensure contracts are signed and executed.
• Represent Safran.AI at trade shows, client meetings, and industry events.
• Prepare regular sales performance reports and maintain up‑to‑date information in the CRM system.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in technology or AI‑related markets.
• Ability to work autonomously, identify opportunities, and drive them to commercial launch.
• Strong understanding of the ASEAN market and ability to engage with institutional and industrial clients.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with experience presenting at conferences or trade events.
