Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to expand our client base, secure new projects and drive revenue growth within the construction sector. The role combines market intelligence, bid management and client relationship building to achieve defined sales and profitability targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and onboard new clients and projects, meeting sales and profit objectives.
• Gather market intelligence, develop and maintain a strong client network.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape.
• Review bid proposals from the tender team and make decisions in consultation with the director.
• Act as Bid Manager for large‑scale projects, leading negotiations on contract terms.
• Collaborate with the BD team and other departments to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Promote and protect the company’s brand, corporate image and reputation.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as assigned by senior management.

Required profile

• Professional degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the construction industry, either as a consultant or contractor.
• Experience in ground improvement works is an advantage.
• Proven geotechnical design experience and ability to manage geotechnical solutions.
