Business Development Manager

About the role

As a Business Development Manager you will drive relationship‑based, consultative selling within Singapore’s commercial sector, targeting Banking, Logistics, Shipping and Manufacturing. Leveraging DXC’s expertise in AI, digital twin and emerging technologies, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior technology and business leaders, identifying high‑value transformation opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Build and sustain trust‑based client relationships, positioning yourself as a strategic advisor.
• Develop senior‑level relationships with business and technology leaders by understanding client priorities and industry dynamics.
• Share distinctive insights, use cases and research to shape client thinking and inspire new transformation initiatives (typically >$5M).
• Leverage DXC’s internal networks and alliance partners to present the full breadth of capabilities.
• Co‑create and validate ideas with clients, developing robust business cases that articulate measurable outcomes and ROI.
• Transition qualified opportunities to sales professionals and solution architects while remaining engaged as a strategic advisor.
• Drive pipeline development, revenue growth and margin improvement across assigned accounts.
• Lead early‑stage engagements such as strategic assessments, value‑targeting initiatives and pilots.

Required profile

• Strong leader with deep technology expertise and a proven record of consultative selling.
• Well‑established market relationships and active participation in relevant industry forums.
• Ability to clearly articulate ROI‑driven value propositions to senior executives.
• Experience engaging senior technology and business leaders to identify strategic IT and business needs.
