Business Development Manager – Marken

About the role
The Business Development Manager for Marken will drive growth across an assigned territory and key accounts. You will nurture existing client relationships while identifying new opportunities in the logistics, clinical supply and pharmaceutical sectors.
Key responsibilities
- Meet or exceed sales targets for assigned accounts and territory.
- Expand existing business and acquire new customers by aligning with management‑set goals.
- Maintain and grow Marken’s customer base through regular interaction and technical expertise.
- Support project teams of Project Managers and Coordinators to ensure end‑to‑end customer satisfaction.
- Develop innovative services and technical solutions for clients.
- Manage quote requests, special client requests, and track win/loss ratios.
- Identify solutions for client loss scenarios and communicate pipeline status to senior management.
- Conduct market research, trend analysis, and share insights with Marketing and senior leadership.
- Coordinate client projects with Operations and assist with audits, site visits, and quality complaints.
- Represent Marken at trade shows, exhibitions, workshops, and arrange client visits and meetings.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics & Supply Chain or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in logistics, clinical supply, or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of healthcare market dynamics.
