Business Development Manager – Merchant & Rewards Partnerships

About the role

Atome Financial Singapore is seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to expand its merchant ecosystem and rewards network across ASEAN. The role blends sales prospecting, commercial negotiations, and cross‑functional project execution to bring new merchants and rewards partners onto Atome’s BNPL, card, and lending platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Drive end‑to‑end merchant acquisition across online and offline channels, from outreach to contract signing and go‑live.
• Identify and engage prospective merchants through cold outreach, referrals, events, inbound leads and strategic partnerships.
• Conduct discovery meetings and presentations to align Atome’s payment solutions with merchant needs.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Operations, Legal, Finance and Marketing to ensure smooth implementation.
• Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with merchants to support growth.
• Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, CRM records and sales reporting.
• Source, negotiate and onboard new rewards partners to enrich the platform’s offers and customer engagement.

Required profile

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong commercial drive.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive projects to launch.
• Experience in B2B sales, merchant acquisition or partnership development.
