Business Development Manager – Singapore/Malaysia

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to drive sales and expand our presence in the Singapore and Malaysia markets. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and work closely with leadership to shape our go‑to‑market strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets for the designated Singapore/Malaysia territory.
• Identify new business opportunities, conduct product demos, negotiate terms and close deals.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize account revenue.
• Manage customer relationships throughout the sales cycle, handling inquiries, quotations, and contract negotiations.
• Support leadership in crafting and executing broader sales initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 1‑5 years of B2B direct sales experience with a proven track record.
• Experience in SaaS or data‑driven businesses targeting the financial sector is preferred; knowledge of KYC workflows is a plus.
• Familiarity with the financial sector in Singapore and a strong local network is advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese.
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
