About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development & Sponsorship Manager to lead revenue generation for a leading sports organisation. Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will head a small team to design and execute a comprehensive monetisation strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the organisation's revenue and monetisation strategy, covering funding, sponsorship and commercial partnerships across all channels.
- Manage all revenue streams and identify opportunities to expand brand outreach and commercialisation.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to align revenue initiatives with brand standards.
- Lead a small team, ensuring high‑quality, brand‑aligned output.
- Attend priority sporting events and travel as required to support partnership activities.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading a small team in business development or sponsorship roles.
- Track record of delivering revenue growth through both digital and traditional commercial avenues.
- Passion for sports and ability to work in a fast‑paced, event‑driven environment.
- Willingness to travel for key events.
- Prior experience in the sports industry is a plus but not mandatory.
