About the role

We are seeking a senior Business Development leader to drive market expansion and partnership growth in the cross‑border payments space. You will shape strategy, lead a high‑performing team, and deliver tailored payment solutions for merchants.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute client acquisition strategies for new markets and industries, focusing on merchant‑centric cross‑border payment partnerships.
• Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of payment initiatives, monitoring market trends and adjusting tactics to capture new sales opportunities.
• Own performance targets, break down goals into actionable plans, and ensure successful project completion from negotiation to implementation.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with merchants, conducting regular follow‑ups and addressing issues promptly.
• Manage daily team operations, set clear workflows, and support career development through coaching and training.
• Conduct continuous market research, produce analysis reports, and integrate internal product, technology, operations, and risk resources to support business planning.
