Buyer – 12‑Month Contract

About the role

The Buyer will support our production and engineering teams by managing the procurement of raw materials, equipment and services over a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Working with Oracle Applications, you will ensure timely, cost‑effective sourcing while maintaining high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate supply needs and generate purchase orders using Oracle Applications Planners Workbench.
• Analyze supplier quotes, negotiate pricing and delivery terms, and secure contracts.
• Coordinate technical issues between suppliers and internal engineering teams.
• Resolve quality concerns by collaborating with inspection, quality control and vendors.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, including costs, delivery schedules and inventory levels.
• Support operational requirements through efficient purchasing and inventory tracking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics engineering or a related field.
• Strong quantitative, analytical and organizational abilities.
• Independent, self‑motivated and able to work effectively in a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Oracle Applications (including Planners Workbench).
• Experience with ERP software.
• Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel.
• Excel Macro development.
• Oracle report writing.
