Buyer – Procurement Specialist

About the role

As a Buyer at NTS Singapore you will manage end‑to‑end procurement activities, ensuring the right materials are available to support uninterrupted production. You will work closely with Planning, Customer Support and Logistics to align supply with demand while maintaining high supplier performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage supplier relationships, resolve issues and monitor performance.
• Place purchase orders with approved suppliers and expedite critical materials.
• Develop and maintain reports on purchasing, inventory and planning (OTD, Push‑Outs, Pull‑Ins).
• Ensure procurement complies with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Create demand and inventory planning strategies to optimise stock levels and minimise stock‑outs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align demand, inventory and timely deliveries.
• Maintain accurate material, supplier and planning data in MRP/ERP systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Navision or SAP.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Positive, self‑motivated attitude with the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Background in manufacturing or technical purchasing (e.g., machining items, sheet‑metal parts) is an advantage.
