Cafe Service Associate (Front of House)

About the role

Join a dynamic café environment as a Service Associate, handling all front‑of‑house duties and ensuring a seamless experience for every guest. You will be the face of the café, delivering fast, accurate service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Execute front‑of‑house operations according to SOPs, including order taking, cash handling, and inventory management.
• Respond to customer requests and feedback, upholding service speed and accuracy.
• Develop thorough product knowledge of the full menu and communicate it to guests.
• Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards throughout the café.
• Support ongoing marketing initiatives and promotional activities.
• Work a five‑day schedule, collaborating closely with team members.

Required profile

• WSQ Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality or a related field.
• Minimum of one year experience in a similar hospitality role.
• Passion for meeting people and delivering excellent customer service.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and work well within a team.

Required skills

• Barista knowledge and coffee preparation skills (advantageous).
